 On Saturday, May 4, suspect, Marvin Perez Lopez, an illegal from Guatemala, was arrested for Kidnapping a Minor under 13 years of age and sexual assault. Through the investigation, detectives learned that Perez Lopez left Guatemala in early January, crossed through Mexico, turned himself in to Border Patrol, was given a court date for some time in 2027 and was released. He found his way to Florida the end of January 2024. Now he is currently being held in the PBC Jail on NO BOND. |

How soon before countries start emptying their prisons and sending the inmates to the United States? Cheaper than feeding them!
Didn’t Castro do this way back when? Isn’t that how we got all of the Cuban criminals in our country?

A court date in 2027? That’s abysmal. He and others need to wait outside the country. When a system is broken it needs to be shutdown until it’s fixed. Border should be closed pronto.

If only there had been a bipartisan proposal on the table to further fund border enforcement. Who can even remember what single person killed that?

Isn’t that how we got all of the Cuban criminals in our country? Venezuela already did, this go-around. Biden doesn't care, nor does anyone, apparently. Sad. Just sad. In our poor pathetic country, you can't pass the border without qualifying documents . You can't work here or exist without same. We have street justice here. Come here illegally, you will be detained, and sent home. Commit a crime, and go home in a body bag, if you're lucky. Most of them become vagrant dog food. We enforce this 100%. I'm not gonna say I'm the chief proponent of this, but I'm guessing everyone can figure that out. |

He was legally here under our asylum laws. Which need to be changed by congress. 3 years to wait is too damn long. He should be held and a hearing scheduled within 30 days to determine if he gets a VISA or kicked out. |

Who had a "Remain in Mexico" policy and who cancelled it? One guy cancelled the deal for funding and better enforcement, and killed any chance of mitigating the problem. Just ask the border patrol union who's to blame for that. They even admitted that they killed the deal as to not give the other guy a win. Would you like to see the video? |

Unless he entered the US at a designated entry point then he entered illegally. And isnt his status still undetermined until his hearing in 2027? I would agree that he has some kind of "hall pass". |

What the H*** are you talking about? Biden cancelled Remain in Mexico for better funding and enforcement then.....didnt enforce anything and record number of border crossings happened. This is been going on since Biden took office but a bill, which included foreign country funding, introduced in the last few months is supposed to fix 3 years of Biden? The current border crisis is 100 percent on Biden. And it doesnt bother me if Republicans voted against it to give Trump a better chance to win. Theres only 6 months remaining in Bidens term so not much would have happened if it had passed and once Trump gets in office he WILL fix it. And we certainly cant take another 4 years of Biden...Go try to gaslight someone else.... |

Illegal entries were climbing until then. Now with Biden's policies and the end of Covid, they are skyrocketing. |
