I'll bet he could "guess" but he might think this subject had been run into the ground so he probably won't. Rumor is he lives within 5 miles of a new WMA so he is concerned with FWC's lack of transparency on several issues such as true harvest statistics and true hunter numbers. He often wonders who verifies what this Resource Management company spouts as gospel. Maybe they make very expensive "guesses" also - but they do use a big computer. Well Joekat you disappointed me  . Actually, I wonder about some of the numbers they spit out also. The only way you are going to get the numbers you're looking for is if and when most of the hunters (85 to 95 percent) start reporting their harvest. As far as deer harvest numbers go, were a long way from that, if you think the numbers from Responsive Management is anywhere close to being right. Like any statical model garbage in equals garbage out. |
