Went to New York when I was a kid but as an adult I have no interest to go back. We have enough New Yorkers in South Florida to form a educated opinion. I am sure that the food is great though.

Last time I was in NYC it was Hunts Point. Brought a load of strawberries from Watsonville Ca., cold and sleeting.

Just returned from NYC. My first time. I have friends there, so thought it was time since I turn 70 in July. Being from the south, it is was quite an experience. I would not live there, but there is so much history and things to do, you just have to put all the bad stuff aside and enjoy the good things it has to offer.
Next week, I will be going back to Louisiana where I keep my boat. The redfish, trout and flounder ought to be thick as long as the weather does not get too hot or a dreaded hurricane comes our way.
In August, going to Costa Rica for seven days to the Playa Conchal area. We have three days of fishing chartered, two offshore and one inshore. Hope to get a bucket list fish off the list, the beautiful roosterfish.

U.S.S Alabama Bellingrath Gardens Ft Morgan and Ft Gaines (take the ferry across the bay Gulfquest Maritime Museum I wouldn't waist my time or money at Gulf Coast Zoo. We went last week and were pretty disappointed. The Tigers died in 2019 and everything else there is dead or dying. If you like amusement/water parks check our OWA Thanks for the Info. I know about the Alabama and the stuff around it, we will go there for sure. I didn't know about any of the others, but we will check them out for sure. Any restaurants that we shouldn't miss? If the opportunity arises, spend a night or 2 here. www.magnoliasprings.com/It's convenient to Foley, Fairhope and not a bad drive to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores.
