Pretty much like this. Then bake them for 20 minutes and add them to my meat sauce that I simmer for 3 hours.
⅓ cup plain bread crumbs
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
2 eggs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
¼ bunch fresh parsley, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Our family does it similar without the milk. We also run a piece of sliced bread under some water, squeeze out the water and break off tiny pieces of the bread into the mix. Keeps the meatballs from getting dense and allows the sauce to penetrate. My Uncles been on a pan fried kick, they are good but I still like the oven.

Throw them in the pan on high and get a nice crust on them and put in the gravy for four or five hours on low.

I'm just using some cheddar i have. I started to buy some pimento cheese this week to make an omelette but didn't do it. Now I wished I had.

Bacon cheeseburgers from the grill. A good way to start a fight, with the wife, is to make an odd number of bacon to split between an even number of people!

Ohmy, put the bacon on the grill before the burgers. No too high of heat and watch carefully.

Can’t let this thread get off the first page. Steak-umms on Publix hoagie rolls. Sautéed mushrooms and onions with provolone cheese. Also made 2 trays of tuna casserole. One for us and one for my daughter to take back to college. Go Jags

I just killed another Iguana but I won’t eat him. Into a bag and then the garbage bin. Couldn’t get a clean shot with the air rifle and he spooked and jumped into my pool so I had to get them with my leaf net and then clobber him in the head with a 2 x 4.

Did a rack of St Louis trimmed Spare ribs on the Egg this afternoon. Finished up a couple of the Thanksgiving day side dishes with it.

Tony, I like Steakum's every now and then. We usually caramelized some finely chopped up onions and finish with plenty of Provolone Cheese

I've had a pot of chili simmering on the stove all afternoon. It will taste good in this cooler weather.

Had a ham for Thanksgiving. Cooked the bone all day yesterday and started split bean soup this AM, soup for dinner This was my original plan for our ham. Then it was scallop potatoes/ham.. Then it was “I’m tired of this shit right now”. I just put the pulled turkey and the pulled ham in the freezer for another day 🙂. I ate 1 too many sandwiches of both. Chili sounds great right now.
