Yes......that little grunt ( pigfish ) actually attacked the shrimp............
Started with 4 dozen shrimp we bought and then spent a good hour buttressing the shrimp with finger mullet....St. Augustine Inlet.....rising tide.....
Caught a good 45-50 mangroves......a limit of 10 being easy.
Kept one flounder too. Everything else....lots of it.....got tossed back. Reds, jacks, ladyfish, more pigfish........
Could not fish with more than one rod if you were in the right place. And there were plenty of "right places"........
If you're into food fish.....go catch some mangroves.....
