Friday FWC released a statement from Desantis announcing that every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September will be open for red snapper. As will Labor day. that get's added to the same Friday/Saturday/Sundays in October and November we already had. Season will be open on Thanksgiving Day also. Rec anglers can fish in State and/or Federal waters. Of course, we all know there are probably no more than 8-10 ARS even in existence, so this will cause extinction for the snapper for sure.

That's good to hear. For charter folks too? Only for the guys who don't have a Reef permit. The charter guys season is still open until 9-31 or the quota is met. |

That’s good news. Sounds like some boat ramps will be crowded Yeah, Labor Day weekend will be stupid here. Scallop season will be open, and reds and gag will open on 9-1. |
