There is a boat sunk in Carrabelle river. Guess it didn’t go all the way down because of shallow water. Seems it was anchored out in river for at least a few weeks. Looks to be around 30 feet long or so sportfisher. Can see on Carrabelle webcam. Does anybody know what happened?

Hilton Head has a huge problem with anchored, abandoned boats. As long as they are at anchor in the waterway, there is nothing they can do about them.
They have a population of homeless who live on them, moving from one to another when they sink or start taking on water. They'll acquire a dinghy and a wind turbine or solar panel and live quite nicely. Since the owners are gone, no one can say anything as long as they are anchored.
