Innitial take aways:
Clean boat Captain is nice Mate is exceptional
Boat doesnt break speed records but is cheap and sails w 11 or more passengers.
They will make sure your rig is up to snuff and provide as much assistance as you need.
We had 3 stops and caught some fish at each stop.
From my memory most folks got at least 1 or 2 mangrove and those ranged from 12/14 to 22 inches, other fish included 2 triggers, 2 yellowtails, 1 lane, 3 moray eels, a 50# grouper (yah, for real), and as many tomtates as you want. We mainly used em for bait.
Had a kid on the boat with us and capt tried to make sure he caught some fish. Kid lost a couple and got some grunts. His grandfather was fishing a butterflied grunt (i think) and got the giant gag. Fish went into its hole and come out a while later, then he got him within view and folks were saying goliath, when it got closer, was gag all the way. About 4 ft long, fat, sassy, and healthy. I’ve never seen one this big.
Just goes to show you never know but i’d not sit there all day trying for a monster when can get other fish. I kept 3 lil ones and we threw a yellowtail over that was probably a keeper.
Fun trip and one I’ll do again if in the area.
No pics. I shoulda got one w the grouper. Should be online before too long. He needs a heros page on his website.

May ask you for more details later. Was in Port St. Lucie on Sunday visiting a life long friend recovering from a stroke. His days of fishing out of my 16 foot Skiff are probably over but he should be able to do a party boat. Ft. Pierce inlet is the closest to his home. Later.
