Interesting and a little humorous as I thought your art would be great in a hotel or hospital. The color coordination would be endless.

Interesting and a little humorous as I thought your art would be great in a hotel or hospital. The color coordination would be endless. I've been using that title for a series going back several years. At one time, it might have been a useful hobby, but now ... it's pointless. I'd rather crawl over broken glass than sit on a folding chair at an "art fair". The "fine art" system is so absurd that some books about it are hilarious. Artists are a dime a dozen on the Internet, and some of them are very talented. The question becomes: "Do I really want to sell coffee mugs and tote-bags?" The answer ... gets complicated. How many dozen do you want?

Interesting and I think I get it. I’ve always enjoyed art but not all art. Somethings that are passed off as art are certainly unappreciated by me. I enjoyed studying the old masters in my humanities classes many years ago. The colors in your works portray seasonal and growth changes in nature with an enhancement, I’m assuming from your computer. Correct me if I’m incorrect. BTW-Can use a break from politics😉

BTW-Can use a break from politics😉 After decades of "wet" photography, I was dragged kicking and screaming into the digital age. We moved a few blocks, the darkroom was packed up, and it's still gathering dust twelve years later. Photoshop in an enormous program, and I'm using a "light" version. It's all for grins ... at least the recent material. The back-catalog might become useful soon. Taking a crack at the "museum" market. Touring shows of artwork, with catalogs or books attached, are a regular feature ... and that's where the tote-bags and coffee-mugs come in. Museum shops are a Major source of revenue. It might be ass-backwards, but I've got a fabulous image that will sell tickets, and a title that will be trademarked soon. There's a legal quirk ... the image is a recognizable person, but the state law that created a "post-mortem right of publicity" was not made retroactive. The person in question passed away prior to enactment, and my state of residence doesn't recognize the right at all. I've been in touch with the estate in question, and they won't be frozen out. Some uses of the image could be inappropriate, ( which won't happen ), and for others the final decision will be theirs, and they'll get a cut of everything. Having been jacked around on Copyright in the past, requiring years in federal court, I'm especially aware of the use and misuse of intellectual property. Yes, a break from politics could be helpful ... at least from commenting on it. It feels like we've all been watching a train wreck in slow motion ... from different sides of the track.
