What's your biggest bass? Caught this one on a chartreuse redfish magic lure.

This guy, top water lure, more than 10 years ago, in Tuscany. P.S. the rod, to estimate the size (didn’t measured nor weighed) is a 6’6” StCroix Premier

Pretty cool to catch one in Italy. What other game fish do they have in Italy?

In FW I would say pikes and trouts but it depends on what people consider game fish. Some people consider game fish even invasive wels catfish (while I consider them a pest)…

Back when we used to fish tournaments. Those 5 went a little over 37.5 pounds......all on lures.....St. Johns..... The largest one was 10-12......we culled fish over 4 pounds. Over the years.....a couple over 11......lots in the 7-10 range....one over 12, but as that one was on a shiner I don't count it.

I wish I could find the pics of my son's first 2 bass. One was bigger than he was at the time.
Both fish were caught off my dock on Istokpoga about 12 years ago. He will be hard pressed to ever be that lucky again. I'm still fuming at the ol' lady for losing them somewhere.

No lead weights into them? 🤣 Just kidding of course, I just remember the guys (Ohio?) who cheated in tournaments putting weights in the fish bellies…
