Tried to get out in the little weather window we had, go off work and hit the cut at 930. Ran straight out and greeted by 2 ft seas outta the NE. Ran out to 900 and found some wind blown weeds. Put a spread out and worked off shore. Nothing out to 1200 or 12 miles out, turned NW and worked back in to 900 and nothing. Was @ 1 o’clock so pulled them in and ran back west, didn’t see anything so I figured we’d try the freighters as a last ditch effort. Got a triple on the 3rd freighter in 130, and got lucky enough to get 1 solid 30lb wahoo outta the 3. Did a couple more trolls by but nothing and called it a day at 230. Lucky to have the one fish off mono
