Headed down to my place in manatee county in the morning. Milton’s eye went right over and I’ve not gotten down there yet due to taking care of the mess up here. Will see which of my stands and feeders are still standing. Our hay man told me today that my dove field I planted is a total loss, but hoping the stands aren’t on trees that blew down. Wish me luck.

Had a stand out when a Hurricane went by several years ago. The tree swayed and twisted to the point a Family Tradition stand actually needed my welding buddy, to mend a split that opened on the foot rest. It’s been fine ever since. Good luck to you.

All but one of my stands made it through. The one that got crushed by a large limb, was old and on its last legs anyway. I had to cut up several trees to get down the roads, but pleased with how it turned out. One of my cameras documented the storm well, as a large limb fell in from of it and the wind kept it taking pics. It shows the creek rise into the woods and about 2’ of water under the feeder. Once the wind stopped, the deer and hogs were all over it, eating underwater corn…

All of my Ladders made it fine but most of them the legs are pulled out of the ground with a 6 inch or so gap. EZ adjustment. Welcome to the Leaning Forest. Deer trails are screwed. Trees down everywhere..Planted Pines. Them deer are gonna be High Jump Stars soon. Ground forbs and eatable's for the deer next year will be solid as the sunlight reaching the ground now that the canopy is gone will help some. My chainsaw stays on my 4 wheeler.
