This goes out to all of you in the panhandlers area. We may not always agree but, you are all in our prayers. Pray all of you and your families come through this safe and well. We can disagree on something else next week.

We dodged a huge bullet in Leon County. Hate it for Taylor, they've had too many storms already

I hope none of our NE group have been affected, although too many areas we are familiar with seem to have been hit. One of our favourites, Cedar Key , appears to have been wiped out, on the info I have had. Its all very sad.

It appears to be much like MB in '18. Total devastation.

Just to check in. Douglas and Coffee County were hit hard. Near 100 % power outages. We were fortunate to only receive minor damage to our house. Over half the utility poles in town and the county were snapped. Lines down and homes destroyed EVERYWHERE you look.
Pines are beautiful to look at. Until they're lying all over the roadways and on or in people's homes.
Our camper survived and we lived in it for 10 days with a generator until our power came back on in the house. Most of the city is now back on the grid. The county, on the other hand, is still looking at another 2-4 weeks minimum before power is restored. Some estimates are well into November before it's all done.
I've been privileged to do some supply runs to the outlying areas with my truck and trailer. Our community has really pulled together and we've received at least 8 semi truck loads of relief supplies at our church alone. It's good to be able to take necessities to those in need and I'm proud to have been able to help in a small way. #coffeestrong
I am praying for all those in. Milton's path tonight.
Very bad cell service in the area I live until they get the towers built back. Hope you're all doing well.
