He doesn’t care what it will cost the American people, military, and veterans.

Just think how much money could be saved if we actually shut down government for a month

BT, you don't support "commonsense" election laws?
I guess you don't support "commonsense" travel laws (Real ID) compliant for air travel?

It's a made up issue that's going to blow up in their faces. Watch.

When I READ the bill text, I had no problem with it.
Have you READ the bill text?
And how does providing ID that is compliant with the Real ID act make voting harder?
It has not made voting harder for me when I show my ID to vote.
A lot of things are made up issues..
Isn't congress responsibility to submit a budget?
This continuing resolution habit is like taking 3 martini lunches every day for years and expecting your boss not to say something to you when you miss deadlines.

Take it up with Mike Johnson. They are busy impeaching people and releasing Hunters dick pics. No time for stand alone appropriation bills.

Most inept house in history, they spent more time removing speakers than actually getting anything done. 2 years and they are still using Nancy Pelosis spending budget. Nancy never brought a bill to the floor unless it was going to pass. These tards just throw spitballs on the ceiling and make bets on where it will land.

Making it too easy to vote could be a bad thing.

You don't even have to think about it BT. It's very simple. Just try to find someone that will say " If I have to show proper ID, I'm just not going to vote " That's all you need to know on the issue.

If I have to show proper ID, I'm just not going to vote. QED. As if we needed more evidence that people say stupid shit and don't think enough.

FF45 seems to be well practiced at killing bills that should pass, but don't give him any political advantage. That's how to make America Great - Again.................

Are you sure you read the bill? It is not a requirement to show I.D. when voting. It is a requirement to prove citizenship when registering to vote. It requires the REAL I.D. act documentation provide proof of citizenship. A driver's license does NOT provide proof of citizenship even though it is REAL I.D. compliant. You would need a passport or birth certificate or Naturalization Certificate to be eligible to register to vote. It is much more complicated than showing your driver license to vote. The other issue is, it requires the state to remove people who can not be verified as citizens and they must go through the process to re-register with proper documentation. The law is vague on how the state makes that determination, so many states could just kick off all voters who registered without providing proof of I.D. which would include many of us on this forum since a lot of older members filled out a registration card long ago before you had to provide documentation and signing the oath was sufficient. How would you like to get a letter in the mail saying you were no longer registered to vote and had to prove your citizenship to be able to vote again and by the way, you are ineligible for the fall election due to this new requirement? The bill is poorly written and designed to remove valid voters from the voting rolls. It could affect millions of legitimate voters to maybe catch a few people who may have slipped through the system. Kind of reminds me of the left's version of punish legal gun owners for the acts of a few who break the law. This bill punishes legal voters due to the acts of a few. Here is a copy of the funding bill. The Save Act is Division B, in case you would like to re-read it. www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/9494/text?s=1&r=1
