Well it was time to wet a line with Son Craig and his Wife Donna. The plan was to run out of Redfish pass to my close in numbers that always held a variety of fish. The run to the Pass was nice and smooth. Once we hit open water we were running into 3 to 4 ft. seas' bummer. very slow bouncy ride out. At this spot both sounders showed no fish at every stop . well, picked one spot, set the anchor, mixed up the chum and set it near the bottom. Tried this at a couple of spots NADA nothing . Time to hit the flats in Pine Island sound for trout or whatever fish were looking for a shrimp to eat for lunch. Donna hooked up first then Lady fish came to play. Then I hear a yell from the bow. The lady fish hooked my son in the hand. Not a good picture. They live in Naples His wife Donna is in the medical field; took a firm stand that the hook had to be removed as soon as possible, before they left the Cape. First stop was at a new emergency care facility near our home .she was not impressed at the time it took to talk to some one. They then went on to Lee Health different story just down the road. Hook out, An injection and prescriptions for antibiotics. No fish to clean this time out!

In all my years fishing never had a hook go all the way through this way. It wasn't coming out with out a little surgery.

Ouch
Had one of those go in my finger and under my nail once. Had to go to the urgent care to have it removed.
