Made it out to Little Talbot somewhat late (2pm) in time for the incoming tide, been some time since I've been out and always a good day when you're at the surf fishing! Walking out I had chatted with a few anglers on their way back in who all were out since early A.M. without a single fish caught on low tide. Only one who managed a lady fish. Always good to hear what's being caught or not but at the surf you never know if you can get the unexpected, I was admittedly lazy in the heat & afternoon sun so I didn't walk down to my usual spot(s). The water was super sandy almost murky like a rough river or a nor'easter / hurricane was making its way in or just passed. Never seen the water like that without some kind of weather event so I'm curious... Fished for a little over 4 hours on fresh DOA shrimp and managed a single whiting on a pomp rig, missed one good hit due to my excitement but that was the load of it. Seems in my absence the fish forgot to visit me Keep me posted on what you guys/girls are doing on the surf, trip out next weekend morning will be incoming tide along with changing winds this week. Good times!
