The 60s, 70s and the 80s were a great time to be "Forever Young" . If you weren't there it's hard to describe Yes it was! Growing up in Hollywood & being a young man not afraid to get in trouble was a bonus! Ft. Lauderdale was the spring break capital & Hollywood Beach always had some young cute snowbirds down visiting there Grandparents. Life was good! The good old days, then the 80's hit along with responsibility & mortgage payments! A few year's later , a nice house nearly paid off, second wife who I don't always see eye to eye with & 2 dogs. It ain't the Ritz but it ain't bad. |

I went down to KW to play in a bar in '67. Took a look around and said no thank you. Town was shrimpers and navy back then. Didn't feel like fighting every night. My friends lasted two weeks. All of S Fla was very different back then. I surely miss it.
