And now consider.....open minded.....what those who would do us harm saw, what their advisers and their political professionals are parsing from it.

For many of us, those who understand the Scots-Irish culture that is much of America ( Remember....culture is LEARNED so anyone can accrue a culture. ).....we know what we saw. 

Got to imagine that those who hate Western Civilization, who hate what we generally refer to as a "liberal democratic" set of governing principles, who would trample and replace those hard fought individual liberties with something else, that they don't like what they saw. They detest the idea that some leader someplace will stand and push back in defense of Western Civilization, of "liberal democracy", of individual freedoms.

Now......is Trump a poor vessel to be carrying on that defense, to be at the head of the push back? Of course.

But we seldom have the articulate magnificence of a Margaret Thatcher, the rhetorical skill of a Franklin Roosevelt, the hard holding to moral high ground of a Barbara Jordan, life and history being not well stocked with such. So what we have is flawed, seriously so.

But......the need to defend is critical. 

The progressive left, not to be confused with the left of Hubert Humphry and Jack Kennedy, it seems to be unwilling, or.....well......they've chosen to give us who slosh around and spread a vote here and there......they've left us scant choice.

And it's worth keeping in mind......that holding the line of a free society might just be done by a Trump.........
