They described the inner circle, Donilon especially, as convinced “that this was going to be about Trump, not about Biden, and at the end of the day, people just wouldn’t vote for Trump. But here we are, we’re sitting in July, and the race is about Biden, and it’s about a trait you can’t fix.”No one has done more to keep the president isolated — and shielded from tough conversations — than his wife, first lady Jill Biden, and sister, Valerie Biden Owens. The president’s determination to spend weekends at home in Wilmington, away from most aides and the formal trappings of the White House, may be the clearest manifestation of Biden’s strong preference for familiarity and privacy.So... the people that would vote for anyone, but Trump are starting to consider the alternative. The possibility is creeping in.....the concept has been introduced. If the Trump team has any political savvy at all, they will use that to their advantage and soften the rhetoric on issues like abortion, immigration, and Ukraine.

Some people are realizing that the Dem “alternate reality universe” isn’t real.
They are waking up and realizing Trump is the best that we have right now.

Its all hyping the cover story. This was a soft coup in the party. They knew what everyone else already knew and that was Biden is and has been medically and mentally unfit to be president. If you think this is a new revelation, you should examine your naiveté and everything else you believe to be true..

You have an example of Trump ever doing anything close to that. Remember when they kept talking about his presidential pivot that never came?

Don't worry.....I have it on good authority that there is going to be this..... "magical blue wave" that will happen in November......yea this November. This magic "blue wave "is going to come and save your delusion......Ha..... ROFLAMO. I feel a lot better about the election after watching our friend George Stephanopoulos mentally dissect President Biden....and Joe stayed awake the whole time.

That's Rovember, and it will be a generational change. Regardless who the Dems run.
GOP fucked themselves, and they deserve what's coming.

If the Trump team has any political savvy at all, they will use that to their advantage and soften the rhetoric on issues like abortion, immigration, and Ukraine. www.axios.com/2024/07/15/trump-convention-speech-rnc-milwaukeehis advisers tell us Trump plans to seize his moment by toning down his Trumpiness, and dialing up efforts to unite a tinder-box America, when the Republican convention opens Monday in Milwaukee.
Between the lines: Even before Trump began engineering a more unifying convention, Biden allies felt boxed in about how to campaign against him now. At least for the moment, he's a more broadly sympathetic figure, buoyed by his visceral, showman's instinct to pump his fist as he was hauled off the stage.
One close adviser, explaining the new convention plans, said Trump's gambit is that now Democrats "can't come after me anymore as a fascist. What're they gonna do now?"
He could show a different side of himself. In public, he's all fire and bombast. But his wife, Melania, talked in a statement yesterday of looking "beyond the left and the right, beyond the red and the blue." People who know Trump well say he's a gracious host, inquisitive, loves music and social media. This is the kind of moment when people give leaders a second look, a second chance.

Trump is a felon, a sexual offender, a psychopath, ignorant, showing signs if dementia...the only people who would every consider trump as presidential are mentally and psychologically damaged.

That's probably another exageration....but regardless. He's much better than the democratic alternative. The main difference between the two is Biden has not been convicted yet.
