Trying to build her nest in our fenced in back yard. Ran her off yesterday but she’s there early this morning. A shallow depression and lining it with grasses. I saw her just before letting the terrier in the yard.
The wife, CEO, and holder of spell binding matters of the supernatural, has decreed, the bunny gets the yard. Her one vote is a super majority in our marital corporation. So I guess the rabbit just acquired ownership to that square. The lawn guy will be banned from the fenced in area.
The pup is beside herself with terrier thoughts. Now I need to figure out when the babies are large enough to leave the location so life can again resemble some normalcy.

We have a little female brown rabbit that likes to nest in our hedge row. Twice now I've caught my lab with a baby in her mouth. One survived and the other had a broken back when the wife found it. The terrier will probably be the biggest issue for the cotton tail.

We have a baby/young one that's been hanging out in the backyard. Our dog tries like hell to catch it but it's just to quick and stealth for her. Always makes an escape under the fence. LOL

The odds are stacked against the rabbit. They’re a prolific species that can have five plus litters a year. But they feed a lot of other critters.

My Big problem with Rabbits is getting 2 within a week in my yard.
Takes 2 to cook up plenty. I like to eat them and they eat about everything I plant.
No Mercy , your future is a Crock Pot.

The odds are stacked against the rabbit. They’re a prolific species that can have five plus litters a year. But they feed a lot of other critters. Shrimp of the woods! |

i hunt and harvest just about everything there is in florida but once they make it to my yard they get a free pass, squirrels and 2 rabbits at my back door almost every morning, couple coons and possums weekly visitors, otters once a month and blue jays by the dozen as well as another 10 different kinda birds everyday. my german shorthair kept everything in check but had to put him down 2 years ago so everyone moved in. my chihuahuas do absolutely nothing , iguanas,curly tail lizards,toads and snakeheads the only thing my wife lets me kill. wife has a picture of a squirrel and a rabbit with one of her shit eating chihuahuas all eating outa same bowl at same time.

Oh I love to see them in my yard as well..
Till the winter and the freakin deer have bush hogged everything you've lovingly planted and fertilized all year long. The squirrels are raping your Persimmons fruits and the Rabbits have destroyed your flower beds.
Screw all of them..I'll watch them in the woods from my hunting stands.
My Yard is a Death Zone.
I'm only taking control of 2 acres they got Thousands to do what they want.
