Been saying he should have done that already, stupid move on his part not to have. I think he thought he could blame Republicans as BT has tried to do, but that is a failed tactic. Not sure it will help at the late stage, but it won't hurt him. Well, Trump can claim Biden is endorsing his policies, so that may hurt a little, but closing the border will remove that issue from the campaigns no matter who tries to claim credit.

Now ask every no vote for their why. I think that (assuming you only get truthful answers), you will find that there are some that did it for the reason you stated. What you will also find is that a number of them voted no on an entirely different basis.
The pork was tacked on to make claims such as yours possible, regardless of accuracy. If it passed, the fringe benefit is a pet project gets funded.
Kind of a win-win scenario for team D.
Someone else already pointed out on another thread today why Biden can’t legitimately pass the border fiasco off on anyone else.

The bill was to basically hire more agents to process the illegals faster and not to stop them from entering the country illegally.

Then are plenty of companies in S FL that call their employees contractors to avoid the payroll taxes and benefits. |
