Hi everyone, first time poster here down from Jacksonville, staying in KCB for the week. Been coming down for 10 or so years typically targeting mahi and usually have it dialed in pretty well. This year the bite has definitely been a lot slower but managed to find 8-12 keepers a couple days. That’s about as many as I prefer to filet at one time anyways lol. Lots of shorts mixed in but follow the birds and will eventually find some better fish. We seemed to have most of our success deeper in 700-900 feet but also found some shallow in 400. Have also noticed the afternoon bite seems to be hotter than morning maybe because of the full moon but not sure. Also managed to limit on black fin two days and plan to get on them again today. We have a large group of three families staying together so the sushi goes fast! Tried deep dropping for the first time with the mahi bite being slower and found all the Rosies you want in 1100-1200 feet. Sorry for the novel good luck and tight lines! Attachments:

Update - blackfin didn’t cooperate quite as hoped but still managed a few. Mahi were feeding hard and all ate rigged ballyhoo. All fish caught on the troll. Attachments:
