UMMM CAD Did you not say the other crime to get this moved from a misdemeanor to a felony was state and federal tax crimes? The IRS audit has nothing to do with this case. I am done responding to your silliness. You have to be trolling at this point. Have a nice day.

Following Trumps conviction, there will be a pre-sentence investigation.
Unless the plodding reptile can change his spots, it won't go well.
If he remains defiant, shows no remorse, and otherwise "acts out", he's daring the judge to jail him.
Of course, after the trial and guilty verdict, the judge might still find Trump in contempt and ... lock him up.
Thirty days as an honored guest on Rikers Island might do Trump a world of good.
He won't miss the alcohol or nicotine, but his Rx speed won't make the cut.
When released, will he stay free pending appeal?
That's an iffy bet ... an ankle monitor for sure.
A flat million dollar bail is not out of the question.

House arrest til November 6th sounds like a proper punishment, no need to lock up a former President.

Not as a business expense. A personal expense taken as a business expense is taxable income as is any "excused" debt. It would then be taken as a deduction depending on the corporate set up. This manipulation would then be considered tax evasion. Personally, I would think that this kind of manipulation is pretty common among closely held corporations. Still qualifies as tax fraud no matter who does it. That's what he's charged with, not for illicit affairs. Lucky he's married to a woman who values the money more than fidelity. What if he wanted them for his memoire. To write a future book. Seems like you would have to know his motivations. NONE OF THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN THIS CASE! Obviously nobody cares why he paid off his whores. Especially the evangelical lemmings. His legal problem is not the payments, but the fact that he tried to cover personal debts with corporate funds, he then charged off the hush money payments (which were personal expenses) as corporate expenses. Had he just paid the bitches out of his own funds there would not have been a problem. He was trying to job Uncle, and by extension YOU the taxpayer. Don't you wish you could claim all of your personal expenses as business expenses and then write them off as such? This was not his first rodeo doing this either. How about the free rent for his top officers? Not to mention all of the travel expenses, dinners, and entertainment that is being charged off as business expenses as well? Just the tip of the iceberg my friend. This is Trump we're talking about. Not Biden. Not Hillery, not Giuliani, nor any other person political or otherwise. This case is only about Trump doing what Trump does best. Screw the government for taxes, and screw everyone he comes in contact with.

If Trump wins, does that mean we can start writing off the money we spend in tittie bars?

Of course he will be found guilty that’s a given (Slight chance a juror may hold out but doubtful)
It’ll be appealed They’ll keep draining his resources. Keep him off the campaign road as much as they can It’ll be election interference 3.0 However, unless dipshit comes up with 85 million, dies, or gets replaced, after this round, Trump will be 47
