I hope Trump files a multi billion dollar lawsuit against the perpetrators of this farce. He will collect. The laws have never been bent to interfere with an election like this before. Those behind this scheme must be punished.
Your fever-dream is both uninformed, and truly whimsical ... fairies, elves, and unicorns, have a better case.
Trump won't file suit because he can't. For starters, there's no "case" to begin with.
Will he try to file Pro Se?
That's his only option because No attorney, even a Trump butt-boy, would risk their license to file such nonsense.
When Trump last tried his "blowhard best" to launch a similar gambit, it blew up in his face.
His $500 million dollar lawsuit against Michael Cohen was a loser, so he made up an excuse to drop it.
Unfortunately, even if he revives it, Cohen gets to take the first shot.
Cohen will probably win his counter-suit ... if Trump doesn't settle.
The current case, with all the tawdry tackiness, has yet to run its' course.
There will be a defense ... of some sort ... probably pro forma hooey.
But, there will be no "surprise witness" ... Sorry to disappoint you, illinoisfisherman, that's not permitted.
This isn't "Perry Mason" or even "My Cousin Vinnie". This is no joke. Trump's looking at jail, not probation.
It's a coin flip whether "Mr. Bluster" will take the stand, despite the advice of his lawyers.
His ego, and possibly his diminished capacity, might lead him to take the chance.
Either way, he loses.
Either Trumps remarks about "pleading the 5th" will be proven true, or his guilt will be sealed.
Either way, he'll be toast.
That'll be the title of his new podcast: "The Toast of Rikers Island".
