My father seemed to have an immunity to cancer. He was a two/three pack a day smoker until he was about 55 years old. He then had a huge mass of tumors removed from his throat. The doctors were amazed that they were not cancerous. That was 1980
Some of the doctors attributed his “luck” to the fact that he was ill with malaria he got in the Pacific during WW2 for many years.
They are now researching many viruses to fight cancer cells. It seems polio viruses, West Nile virus as well as malaria viruses may hold hope.
