Found schooling reds in the least likely place two days in a row. This is the first day's action. I had two live mullet caught that morning, saw tarpon rolling after giving up for the long day of nothing fishing, baited one mullet and bang, baited the second and last mullet and bang again. Enjoy!!!

Well........forget docks?
Docks are simply sweeteners in places that already hold fish, whether that be a bar or a trough or a drop or whatever. Ragged Point......when the DRUNK FLEET is not out there!!!!!......it's a place like that, no docks but a lot of contour.

I book charters both day and night (this time of year I love night bookings).... Can't remember how many great trips we've had dividing our time between bridge shadows and docklights. If I knew there'd be no docklights on at night - I wouldn't bother booking a night trip... On fly or lures these guys will take light tackle to the limits An 8 or 9wt rod and you're in business at night... We're fishing the urban areas of Biscayne Bay between Miami and Miami Beach - bridge shadows are mostly small tarpon (20 to 40lbs) and we're casting at fish we can see at each bridge. Docklights are a completely different proposition where it's mostly snook along with some tarpon and other species. I was introduced to the night scene in the winter of 1972- and it was my first outing by boat (my early years were pier and bridge fishing before I got my first job as a mate on charterboats - all those years ago...). Anyone wanting more info... an email to lemaymiami@aol.com will get you a color brochure by return mail... More than a few anglers have taken their first tarpon with a fly rod on one of my night trips these past 28 years... Be a hero... take a kid fishing.. Bob LeMay (954) 435-5666
