Hog sausage tortellini soup( so I am told). Letting momma take this one, I mowed and raked all day. I’m too tired to cook and would be fine with a PB&J and a couch.

Made a beef tenderloin roast last night with loaded baked potato and asparagus.
It was great.
I bought the tenderloin from WildFork. They bought too many for easter and had a sale. $8/lb for beef tenderloin.. I will take it!!

Going to make bread today. Well, Publix had a BOGO on Bridgford frozen bread dough and I decided WTH and bought it. Get six loaves of bread for $6. Seems simple enough, thaw it out, let it rise, then bake it. Got the dough sitting out to thaw and rise now.
I don't see how I can screw it up, but the day isn't over.

I bookmarked it and will try it one day. I don't eat much bread, but my brother likes toast and regular loaves aways mold before we use the whole loaf. We even freeze half to cut down waste. I figure this was cheap and smaller loaves if they work and taste decent. Only time I eat bread is when I make french toast occasionally or have a peanut butter sandwich about once a month for lunch.

I think I am going to make bread today too.
Don't feel like going to the store and I want burgers and dogs for dinner but don't have buns.
I have plenty of bread flour so what they heck.
The dough you bought is a no brainer, the toughest part of making bread is creating the right dough. I hate measuring ingredients but with baking it is a must !!

A piece of rotisserie chicken and some green beans.
Doctors got me on a drying out deal where I've lost 12 lbs of water weight in 10 days. Feeling much better but still have 15 lbs to go. (not all weight though).

Haven’t had any spaghetti in a long time. Spent half the day making a bolognese sauce with ground beef and Italian sausage as the protein. I usually over indulge when I do eat it. Since it is a lot of work I make a big batch and put the extra in freezer bags sized for individual meals and throw them in the freezer. That way when you are in a pinch for a meal when you don’t feel like cooking you can thaw them and just boil some pasta.

My best friend who is a appliance repairman did some barter work with his neighbor who is a fish monger for high end restaurants gave me some Venezualan Grouper. He said they market it as Black Grouper. I kenw that Grouper season is closed locally so I did some research and there is indeed a species called Venezualan Grouper that is in the same sub species as our Blacks. I baked it until it was 3/4 done than topped it with a mixture of mayonaise, parmesan cheese, green onions and some sriracha and finished under the brioler. Excellent. Instant mashed potatoes to mix in with the creamy topping and some asparagus.
