I don’t shoot them in the fall. It’s been 30+ years since I have…I’m in it for the gobbles and the show.

Same here, but I started out hunting them in the fall before we got a spring season. Used to bust a flock of gobblers up and call one in later. The spring season is awesome and I had more gobbling this season than I’ve had in several years. If I had a place with a good population, I might try a fall one with a bow.

Not seeing any horns yet But usually by mid-June they’ll be budding
I think the doe may have went off to drop their fawns. I was getting pics of 3 of them together and it stopped recently.

Central fl here and I’ve seen the same real fat doe for weeks now and now as of this week I haven’t seen her at all. I’ve been assuming she was pregnant since she was real fat and kinda had a wide looking gut.

Yeah, he's pretty big. We had some grey fox hanging around a couple of years back. I found one partially eaten in a grapevine thicket. I figured it was probably coyote but since you mentioned how large this red is, he might be the culprit.

I’ll be up near the property this weekend. Hope to pull the chip.
I get some pics here and there from the cell cam (poor reception and I may get a pic or two every other day).

The fawns made their first appearance on June 6th. I believe they were born about 2 weeks ago as that is when I first saw the doe with a swollen bag and teats. Attachments:

Pulled both cards No horns yet but I see a couple that we’re looking like they just barely started. Couple does still carrying Haven’t seen any fawns yet
Side note. I’ll always play around trying stuff; mock scrapes, licking branches etc (never any success on those here in FL) I grabbed a bag of Deercaine on clearance at I think TSC in the spring. Figured wth. Put a camera on it. All the deer visited it. There are 2, year olds buck that frequent it all the time. Even sleep next to it. Kinda funny
I refreshed it. It will be interesting to see if the bigger fellas make it a stop I cut a good lane in march from it, to my Treestand
Oh and best count about 9 different deer come in. 5-6 are there all the time. That just a bit below average for the place. Maybe it’s the hot or abundant wild browse(last trip I found wild berries all over the place. It’s been a rich spring for browse). I have a good food plot in and they graze a bit but not like in the past.

Did a brief walk about yesterday morning. Saw one hen w three poults. Very warm. Not much moving. Summertime and the living’s easy for all the creatures.

I would guess January. I believe a deer's gestation period is around 200 days, so add 165 days to the date of the picture and you will be in the ballpark.
