this outdoor site doesn't allow firearms? not bashing you but....not any different than FB... I think the difference here is one of "liability" rather than the ideological nonsense of FB............... Which of course raises the whole question of tort reform........which goes in POLITICS

My fault. My research wasn't thorough enough before choosing a hosting provider. And at the end of the day, any liability would fall back on me as the site and business owner. Huge risk with zero reward here.

Huge risk with zero reward here. What are you doing? Admitting a mistake, taking responsibility and then freely admitting why it has to be the way it is.........certianly demonstrates why you are unfit to hold public office!! Good lord could we use more of that sort of thing in this country!

I'm just a logical American at heart. Sites like Gunbroker have large umbrella policies and law firms on retainer. The $200 in donations here won't be covering that.

I'm not trying to circumvent any rules so don't hesitate to delete but has anyone actually used gunbroker.com to buy or more importantly sell. Thanks.

I've bought from Gunbroker and Florida Gun Trader multiple times. Have not had a single issue. However, I've only sold on Florida Gun Trader. Technically is was a classified ad and then I met the guy in person for the exchange. floridaguntrader.com/index.php

I'm not trying to circumvent any rules so don't hesitate to delete but has anyone actually used gunbroker.com to buy or more importantly sell. Thanks. It's been a few years but back when I was cleaning out my safe I sold a double rifle and a double rifled 20 ga on Gunbroker. Shipped them following the rules. Worked fine. Yes......had to pay for the FFL to do paperwork......but how else to sell that sort of thing? Post a 45/70 Double built on a 20 gage Ruger O/U frame anywhere here in Florida and all you get is trolls, crickets and folks that just can't believe it exists. Same thing with the Rifled 20 gage built on a FN Sidelock 16 frame from the 30s......what a fun thing. And actually useful as it had 20 inch barrels and a rib mounted red dot.....and weighed all of 5 1/2 pounds with the red dot. But how do you sell such when you don't have a LARGE number of eyes on it.

Is it in it's original and full configuration? If not, www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/guide/federal-firearms-regulations-reference-guide-2014-edition-atf-p-53004/downloadA quote from page 130: " In classifying firearms as curios or relics under this regulation, ATF has recognized only assembled firearms as curios or relics". "Moreover, ATF's classification of surplus military firearms as curios or relics has extended only to those firearms in their original military configuration." "Frames or receivers of curios or relics and surplus military firearms not in their original military configuration were not generally recognized as curios or relics by ATF since they were not of special interest or value as collector's items.
