Twas the week before Christmas
And all through Jensen Beach
The fish were chewin
And the bait was within reach
The Mackerel were inshore
And the Pompano too
The wife gave me a list of chores
And I had plenty of decorations to do
Snook season ended on the 15th of December
If you don’t want to spend Christmas in Jail,
that’s a date you must remember.
Trout begins on January first
And Flounder before that
Always use a measuring stick
Even if the fish look fat
The new laws are crazy
and you need an app,
especially if you are lazy
trust me when I say FWC’s handcuffs will snap
There are sizes and types
But I’m a catch and release kind of guy
As conservation is all the hype
And I’d be filleting till I die
The rain has passed and the weather is great! Get out there and fish as they will cooperate.
In 2024 lots of fish will be landed on the Aquaholic V
The plan is to let them all survive.
