Keeper Mutton 25 Miles Out of Mayport

It was my middle kids birthday, and he wanted to go offshore. He invited a couple of his buddies to go w/ us. We netted plenty of pogies south of Hanna, and made about an hour long bumpy ride out to 90'. We saw a few flying fish on the surface, but no other life. We hit about 6 spots total, catching snaps, beeliners, triggers, almacos, and a nice little mutton. The snaps didn't terrorize us that bad, and we never got sharked....that was nice for a change . We had a live pogie out all day on the flat line, and it never got a sniff.

Here's my boy w/ his keeper birthday mutton. It was 22".
