I caught a rat red from some shrimp i saved from the St Johns. Laura caught 2 on a chartreuse gulp bait, the largest about 16 inches. We fished from 1.5 hours before high tide to about 2 hours after slack. Ran into some folks whose little girl was tearing up the small reds with a cheap kids rod. She was having a blast. They also caught a sheepshead.

Nice... What's the bottom like in the creeks? Generally hard...with oyster bars. Sand, rock, shell, some muddy areas. |
