I have one kid left that still needs a lifetime license, so this was great news to me. I have to do the math for myself, but I’ll probably grab one too and hope I don’t jinx my life expectancy!

Bought my lifetime sportsman license in 1994, has not shortened my life yet.

Five-year Gold Sportsman - $247.75.
Lifetime Sportsman License
Age 4 or younger - $201.50.
Ages 5–12 - $351.50.
Ages 13 and older - $501.50.

10 inch beams can be hard to come by, in some places I guess.
The same people who don’t like passing yearlings are quick to complain about the sex ratio being skewed. The cause isn’t too many does. It’s too few bucks. Thats to be expected, when a lot of yearlings end up in the harvest though.

My family hunted here generations since they moved down in the 1800’s. My kids will always have a license to hunt the same lands their forefathers hunted.

I was looking at GA license yesterday. If a non-resident is under 2 y.o. you can buy a lifetime license for them $500. After that nothing on lifetime for non-residents.
