To walk any Hammock or Creek bottom in my Woods.
Between a Clear Cut from Hell , almost all of the Cypress and Water Oaks cut along with the Pines . Broken branches laying in every road , Fences half torn down, Pine acreage for square Miles looking like the dark side of the Moon..
AND then a freakin Hurricane..We're a Mess.
Yea , Acorns are dropping..Deer can't even find them in a foot and a half of leaves , broken limbs , crisscrossed fallen trees..A Mess
All the vines came down with the trees as well. Might as well hung barbed wire thru the Bottoms.
I guess the brite side is the deer now have to walk the Edges to go move than 50 feet.
No more hiding back in the Thick cause the Thick is a freakin Minefield.
What a Season this is gonna be.
Next winter we have the Crop duster Defoliant sprays to kill everything in prep for replanting pines...
