As title says - looking for a 14x48, regular style john boat.
I duck hunt with 2 80+yo guys and need a light & stable platform.
Also - gonna sell aluminum 12 ft V (doesn't leak) and aluminum 15-10" utility V (leaks) once I can put my fingers on the titles.

Hmmmm. I have 2001 14 x 48 Monark Ive been thinking about selling but it has the slight V bow. It does make the front a bit wobbly if you get up on the very small front deck. Has 2001 21 Vanguard Mudbuddy longtail and good trailer too.

Bow is like this one. No really a lot of motor being a longtail. But it is a 4x4. A lot of motor was the guy in our Lakie O camp who ran a 40 tiller outboard on his 1970's 12 ft Florida Skiff (looks like a sneakboat).

What's are you looking to spend. That might help folks It currently costs $3,200-$3,500 for a new one. If someone bought one pre-covid, they spent less than $2,000. I bought an 18 ft tin in 2020 and the hull is currently over 2x what I paid. Fricking nuts. It will depend on the age and condition - that's why I don't have a $ amount. A beat to hell boat is worth less than a nicer one. I also don't want to commit to paying more than what someone paid 10 years ago. In that case will just buy a new one. I have trailers and motors already. Just want the hull but can buy B&T. Will consider under $2,000, the lower the better. Will need the title. Will pay cash, of course.
