report: 9-18 inshore action picking up

Fished Monday (yesterday) morning through the passing of that "front". was a nice morning, very little rain, missed two thunderstorms that went south, but kept us cool. By 9 the front passed, sun was out and a nice breeze continued to cool us down. First spot we caught some jacks, ladyfish, catfish, (1st slam) and some nice whiting and a good sized trout. Moved to an island to try for some reds and maybe a snook.
She ate a chunk of one of those ladyfish caught earlier. Something had tried to eat her recently head and one side were roughed up pretty bad. a bull shark tried to get her after a good release. Messed up our spot. moved. tried trout fishing as it was now sunny and breezy. drifted in 5 ft. caught several trout on gulp and Zman. ever a grouper in the grass ate one.
went to another island and tried for reds to get my inshore slam. this rat ate a shrimp on a jig.
