just kidding,,,, im always amazed that the one wma with the least amount of restrictions and a very long hunting season flooded or drought consistantly has really good harvest numbers year after year, 30 plus bucks taken and only in the 3rd week of archery. maybe fwc and others need to look at what jw corbett is doing ,,, or not doing and copy it at other wmas. antlerless week starts saturday so go get youself a doe.

The frikkin Sat, Sun, Wed only Turkey hunting needs to go away out there! soon as florida starts charging 500.00 for a 3 day spring turkey license for non residents that could happen but right now way too much non resident pressure.

Looking at the harvest numbers over the past 14yrs For Jw it looks like they average about 92 bucks a year. Thats about 1 buck per 600 acres. Don't know about JW and south Florida, but that's not a lot per acre for most of Florida. Its not what JW is doing, its what the FWC is doing with all the quota hunts. As far as the deer pop goes, they are not necessary on many WMAs, its more about a so-called quality hunt.
