Can't win in a Trump argument. Some don't care what he said or did, and others vote their opinions. Fact is that he lost by 10 million votes. That's a lot of ballot box stuffing. Let's be real, 10 million is a lot of votes. Regardless, Trump still thinks that the world revolves around him and that he is entitled to do and say anything that pops into his head. Is this the type of individual we want leading us as a nation? Is Biden or Trump the best we can offer? No wonder everything in Walmart or Costco is made in China. Making America Great Again....what a misdirection being foisted on us by our leadership. And I mean both political parties.

Jack Smith is not fucking around. He's trying to move this lightning fast. Ketchup emergency tonight at Mar A Lago. JUST IN: DOJ says it has made its first production of trial discovery to Donald Trump and his team — which means (per the below) he now knows who’s going to testify against him, and roughly what they’re going to say.www.rawstory.com/doj-trump-evidence/

I’m not saying Jack Smith isn’t partisan or operating with an agenda. He may very well be. His wife seems to be and I think what political affilation can be traced to him, its been Democrat. But I can tell the man is competent and serious about doing something on this case. Federal rules of discovery are a lot less Defendant-friendly than Florida-state rules are. The Feds usually sit on their evidence until the eve of trial. Something not permitted at the Florida-state level. Either he expects this trial to be lightning fast or he’s bending over backwards to appear fair.

If you watch or listen to Trump-friendly media, they never seem to mention that he ignored the subpoena or attempted to hide the docs from the authorities, just that he had the items in his possession. Deliberately ignoring the old axiom that "it's not the crime, it's the coverup".

Deliberately ignoring the old axiom that "it's not the crime, it's the coverup". These are the very same people that insisted that the FBI had planted those documents. They stopped saying that for some reason, but they got the message out.

I never ever did care for Trump as a person even before he got into politics. I did like some of the things he did while he was president though but after the 2020 election he really screwed himself. It’s time for the GOP to hopefully move on from Mr. Trump.

The right has a very deep bench, Dems do not have that luxury.

As sad as it is for me to say I think Trump is finished. I wish he would throw his support behind a candidate who has a like mindset without the ego.
Trumps ideas and goals were wonderful but his mouth and ego ruined his credibility.
He was the outsider that could have drained the swamp but his words and actions tripped him up and convoluted the presidential direction and possible goals that he should have stayed focused on.

I'd throw covid in there too. You would think his polling numbers would drop, but they continue to rise. He's not finished, he will be the R nomination, will you support him then?

I’m not sure, but I know one thing for sure. I will never ever support Joe Biden.

I will absolutely vote for him or ANY other candidate that will get the country back on track. The perverse insanity that is going on now has to end.

National polls can be very deceiving , do you remember in 2008 when Hilary was the clear front runner, She lost to Barry and Edwards I’m Iowa and never recovered. People that are polled will stick to the familiar until they realize there is an alternative.

It’s time for the GOP to hopefully move on from Mr. Trump. Same here, he's not the kinda guy I would hang out with but he sure turned things upside down & got alot accomplished ln a short time. The country was in the best shape it's been in in a long time everybody working, money flowing & keeping a ittle more change in my pocket. Upside is he did bring few other folks out of the woodwork that seem to want to follow his lead.

Approval and favorability polls give a better indication. Hillary was not liked. while Trump was -15 points on the favorability poll at the time of the 2016 election, she was worse. People did not like her and voted holding their noses. In 2020 Biden was liked and Trump's numbers were negative due to Covid.
While it is too early to make predictions, Trump's favorability right now is -16 and Biden's is -14. DeSantis is only -5. I think, with Trump's legal problems his numbers are not going to get better. Biden's could go either way depending on the economy, his legal issues, and world politics. He could be better or worse next year. I think DeSantis' numbers will improve as he hits the campaign trail more.
I think DeSantis, currently, is the only guy who can beat Biden. But there is lots of time for the other Republicans to get their message out and move up in the polls. If it is Trump and Biden, it will be another hold your nose and vote for the guy you hate the least. I think that has happened in the last two elections and could happen again.
