I just watch him at the Trump rally where he and Trump spoke about making the FDA and the EPA bigger and more powerful. I thought I was listening to the DNC convention.
He is going to reduce pollution and chemicals used on foods and agriculture. We will need a lot more laws and authority for both agencies to make that happen.
I guess a smaller federal government ain't on Trump's agenda anymore. He was also establishing new advisory groups to help RFK accomplish his goals.
I thought he wanted to reduce the size of these agencies.

I think it would be trimming fat from those agencies and beefing up the weak points. Of course not everyone is going to agree we're the cuts need to be maid. Good they are talking about poison in our food. It definitely needs some attention.

The weak points of those agencies are the laws passed and repealed by the Politicians those corporations have bought. Do you really think they give billions of dollars to have somebody in office to work against their interests?

Nothing at all, but you only heard what you wanted to hear. There was a lot more than just cleaning up influence peddling. Congress makes the laws and RFK's agenda will require new laws banning many chemicals used by farmers today to grow crops. It will expand the power of the FDA, Dept of Agriculture, and the EPA to reduce chemicals and pollutants further than current law demands. How do we continue with fossil fuel if the agenda is to get rid of chemicals and pollutants in our air and water? RFK has some noble causes in those regards, i just don't see how it fits into some of Trump's other policies like drill baby drill and curbing EVs and gutting the EPA, FDA, and other agencies. They seem counter productive. |
