Honest question for you Ferris since you seem sincere about the military. Did Trump do more to fix the V.A. than Obama and Biden?

Who can even remember who signed the 2014 VA Choice Act?

They all did some good.

Obama signed the Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014. Gave veteran's access to Community Care for travel, reasonable appt. times, etc.

Trump signed the Veterans Choice Program Extension and Improvement Act which expanded the care provided under Obama's bill. It was welcomed and a good thing.

Biden signed the PACT act which expanded presumptive care for those exposed to hazardous conditions in the middle east and expanded presumptive Agent Orange care for Vietnam era veterans. 

IMO, the Obama deal gave veterans a lot. Community care is huge and long lines waiting for care and appts. dwindled.

Trump kind of rode Obama's coattails to a certain degree but what he signed was welcomed and necessary.

Biden's Pact Act was big as it expanded a lot of care eligibility for middle east veterans that simply didn't exist prior. I believe the Pact act was every bit as important for the middle east veterans as was the first recognition of Agent Orange care for Vietnam vets. 

From my perspective as a Nam guy, Obama's bill was the biggest. It gave us access to the outside medical world. Instead of waiting months and months for an appt, we were able to go outside if the VA couldn't get an appt in 24 days, mileage was considered. 

The Trump bill was appreciated but the wheels were already in motion.

Biden's bill IMO was more important to the middle east guys as it gave presumptive care. We Nam guys appreciated the fact it expanded presumptive diagnosis for Agent Orange and, for the first time, included exposure to Agent Orange in Guam, the Philippine's, Thailand and other facilities providing support to the guys in Nam. 

Other vets may have a different view and I respect that. It's a topic of discussion at the Legion late at night when everybody is loosened up and open about stuff.

It will be available tomorrow, I am sure.  My problem is with crappy so called Republicans that fight the Republican candidate at every turn.  I put you and Cad in this box.  Like I stated earlier I did not like Romney and could not stand McCain.  I still supported them because they had better policies.  I am no fan of a loudmouth from New York.  But he is the best for the country.  It has been proven before covid.      I just do not understand why Republicans constantly stab this man in the back.  You talk about backed in a corner.  Trump has the media as an enemy.   Trump has both democrats and Republicans against him.  They have spied on him.  Falsely impeached him.  Had the intelligence agencies try to spread disinformation on him.   Not to mention the DOJ used against him for political reasons.  Yet he still fights.  Still an A-hole but he fights.  And yes, it pisses me off people call Trump a felon for a memo on a check.  Yet can easily excuse an action that kills 11,000 Americans a year.
