The riots, looting and chaos in the streets of inner cities is awful... It is generally handled poorly buy the authorities and with 24/7 news cycles it feeds on itself..... What happened on January 6th was another matter.... Our nations Capitol was attacked by a hostile enemy force that attempted to seize control and take power.... The only other time anything similar has happened in this country was during the War of 1812. Man that is rich. Worse than 911, ww1 and ww2. Dont undersell it. Remember it was a mirror and a window that was broken. Better add civil war too. Just some tourists running amuck. |

I will admit that my ancestors were pro England during the Revolutionary War but the patriots who fought against them are now heroes. I don’t agree with what happened on January 6 but they may have considered themselves patriots. If Trump or Harris wins and they created a dictatorship and another January 6 happened would people be upset?

Quite the opposite
Now our Dem VP supported the city burning and rioting so much that she openly advocated no bail and bail assistance for the rioters.
Now finally, many of the J6 idiots were severely punished. How many of the looters and rioters that burned down their cities were punished as severely?
Arson is a VERY serious crime.
Proportionally how many of the thousands tat looted and burned down our cities were as severely punished?

I work from home... I had the TV on... And had his speech streaming on one of the three computer screens on my work desk... I saw what he said...
I saw the frothy frenzy that crowd, that he had spent two months working up into such a state, and I saw when he sent them...
His handlers made sure he used certain words.......And only he rambled the single sentence.... "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard" After he had spent an hour making statements like this We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

The rioters and looters SHOULD be punished under the law.... Riots like those that occurred in the spring and early summer are inexcusable......
But as folks have explained... Breaching the Capital of the United States is a different matter....
All of those that climbed into the Capital that day through the broken windows.... Committed a Capital offense... The violated your house and my house.... They had no respect and complete disregard for what belongs to the people.... Not one political party or another... But the people.... The Capital is sacred... And those that violated should face the ultimate punishment.
