We went down to the Keys a few years back. The young family renting the duplex next to us was from Boston. It was move in day so we all got to drinking and talking while moving stuff in.
Their little girl said “ we want to see a manatee.”
I asked her, “how would you like to feed a manatee.”
That little girl lit up like the fourth of July. My son went and turned the water hose on and within 5 minutes that family from Boston was hand feeding a manatee. They thought we were magic.
I know , you’re not supposed to feed them.

Nice video but dude, this is 2024. You should know about landscape mode by now. Just a friendly suggestion.

Cooler areas are becoming warmer. They aren't the only species expanding their northern range, mangroves, snook, tarpon.

We never caught a tuna. Tried trolling this trip and didn’t get one hit.
I was told the bait fish aren’t around this year

Most Tuna migrate into cooler waters with the possible exception of Blackfin. They are commonly caught throughout the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.

I was down in Islamorada a few weeks ago. I was surprised to see the manatees eating dolphin carcasses.

"Manatees are mostly known to be herbivores, though they have been known to eat fish."
