I was watching the Olympic channel and they did a piece on the veterans that participated in the Normandy invasion. I couldn’t help but crying.Amazingly the French give them more respect than many Americans.

France wouldn't exist without those Normandy Vets. It's worth noting that neither would the U.s. without the French. I'm glad the French have not forgotten that

Me and the boy did the WW2 museum in New Orleans a few months ago. They have an exact replica of Anne Franks house. That portion of the museum leads directly into the concentration camp exhibit. I took one step in and had to turn around. Evil does exist in this world. It made me cry.

I don't cry but it sure makes me sad to see an Armed Drone chasing a Russian Solider around the battlefield. Yea , He may be Russian but he's still a young man with a family somewhere and he's about to die. War is such a waste.

We do not do that enough here. Also, remembering the sacrifices my folks made for me, and the just hard work that generations did to make this country great.

The one that triggers me the most and makes me into someone that I don't like is the Twin Towers.

As I get older I find myself tearing up quite a bit. The cemetery scenes on Saving Private Ryan get me bawling every time. I don’t know if it’s empathy or low testosterone. Watching my grandkids grow up chokes me up sometimes. Seeing our vets with missing limbs really disturbs me. Now, Kate Beckinsale gets to me also, but that’s another topic for another time

I wasn’t going to share this, my wife appears to be in the beginning stages of dementia. It kills me to see her slip. Constantly asking the same questions, finding unpaid and unopened bills in the strangest places it can just get a bit overwhelming at times.

Sorry to hear that SWD. It's not an easy thing to go through. My wife and I went through it with both our mothers.

Some songs. Not listening to them, but singing along with them. Depending on what the subject matter is, it might make me cry. Not talking about religious hymns. For example, Let Her Cry by Hootie and the Blowfish will make me cry towards the end of the song. Been there, done that (someone a long time ago before Mrs. Bullfrog). It never heals.

That little league pitcher that beaned the batter. Young man fell apart, batter took first base and called time. Went out and went nose to nose with the pitcher and calmed him down. Tears are not always sad.

Tears are not always sad. Good point, the tears aren’t always from sadness. Weddings will get me. Here comes the bride usually gets me misty. If it’s an open bar the daddy daughter dance always gets me. Even if I barely know the people.

Get her to the doctor, some experimental treatments are on the market. The last administration did sign into law the “ right to try”.
