Polk county has been rainy the last two weeks depending on where you are. It’s kind of hit or miss. Got 3/4” yesterday.

2 month drought in far north Florida. It broke last week. Most days the rain gauge shows us getting an inch per day thereabouts.

Palatka has become a steam bath the last 2 weeks........accumulations are spotty....2-6 inches depending on how the storms have moved.
Mosquitoes......of which we've had zero for months......they will be along shortly......

Been getting a little rain over here in Tampa. Not a bunch but enough to keep the lawn and plants happy.

After about 2 weeks of beastly heat it finally rained here in Tierra Verde, the north part. You getting any rain? If so, where? Every day for almost a month in Seffner.... We are averaging about 10 inches a week...Maybe more.... It has my complete landscaping aka yard re do and replacement pushed back a month.....
But I am right on the line where the land breeze and seabreeze collide..... We often get the same storms two and sometimes three times in a day.. The land breeze and sea breeze push them back and forth.... And for the last week or so we have been getting night time storms. Looks clear tonight.... We only got an eighth of an inch today... .that is the least rain in a month...

Mango that's crazy. I'm up in Clearwater Belcher and Nursery and it's been raining like hell up here seems like a almost a month. Damn grass looks like it needs cut 4 days after cutting it. LOL
It was dry as hell for a couple months before that though.
Glad you're finally getting some rain.

LOL It was dry as hell for a couple months before that though. Glad you're finally getting some rain. It is. We had a torrential downpour the other night and then nothing. It's be been all around us but then nothing. We're on water restrictions but if I had to I'd water, fine or no fine. The up side is we're having work done on the house so there's no rain delays.

Based on the explosion of venomous snake activity this evening, we’re about to get flooding. I’ve killed 2 within minutes and people in my circle are finding them in their yards.
