Also , he needs to make his pick before the end of the convention I believe. Biden won’t be pushed out within the week, if at all. Maybe Biden is waiting on Trump to announce his VP before stepping down and endorsing a new dem nominee. Just to take away from the press coverage it would normally get. Biden makes his announcement just as Trump is voted in and announces his VP choice and all the headlines are about Biden and the Dem nominee. Now that would be politics at its finest.

Unfortunately I don’t Biden is waiting on anything. His days of high stakes political moves are over.

Let's just lay off a couple hundred thousand government employees and see how that works out. Trickle down spending involves 10 people for every employee being laid off. Great for the economy. Good for unemployment, and ultimately we the taxpayers have to fund unemployment benefits for these workers. Elon Musk cleared house and X and the media and leftist on this site were predicting the end of X. X now has a record number of users and activity. The government is like Jack Smith (old CEO of Twitter) was... He had so much money he didn't care what he spent. I doubt you could just lay off hundred thousand and a time, but there is a lot of trimming that could be done. Is your way of thinking just leave the pork in our government and tax more to pay for it?

🤔hard to say if we don’t know who the replacement is yet. But as always, goal number 1, beat Trump.

"An interview with the man called the "architect" of the far-right Project 2025 plan to dismantle the federal government and remake it into a Donald Trump-friendly authoritarian nightmare quickly turned ugly on MSNBC on Saturday morning." "Early in the segment on MSNBC's "The Weekend," co-host and former RNC chair Michael Steele got in the face of Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts who said he saw no problem firing a government employee who donated to a Democratic candidate." "What followed was the two talking over each other with Roberts claiming more than 50,000 federal employees would be summarily fired after complaining that 95 percent of government employees "give political contributions to the liberal Democratic party." "You're going to fire someone because they gave a check to a Democratic candidate?" an incredulous Steele asked." "No, we're going to fire someone — and the number needs to be more than 50,000, considering there are 2 million federal employees," Roberts shot back." "But you would fire my dad because he wrote a check to a Democratic candidate without any appreciation or understanding where his political allegiance actually lies," Steele interrupted. " "They're unelected bureaucrats — nothing against your dad, a human being, you know that. obviously. But ultimately, we have to devolve power from the imperial state --." www.rawstory.com/project-2025/?utm_source=msn

"At the heart of Project 2025 is its 920-page playbook entitled "Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise," which six of Trump's former cabinet secretaries either helped write or contributed in other ways via collaboration with the playbook's other authors. " "Some of the more extreme policies listed in the playbook include cutting veteran and active duty military benefits, permanently banning abortions and fertility treatments, removing LGBTQ+ individuals from the list of federally protected classes, converting public education infrastructure into a for-profit system and defunding the FBI and the Department of Justice, among others." "Trump's latest denial could be due to heightened interest from the American public in Project 2025. .......according to Google Trends, more Americans are searching for Project 2025 than even for pop icon Taylor Swift and the National Football League." "A viral photo has also spread of Trump at that same Heritage Foundation meeting shaking hands with the group's president, Kevin Roberts, who is one of the chief architects of Project 2025. This serves as direct evidence contradicting Trump's false claim that he has "no idea who is in charge" of the controversial strategic document." "Earlier this month, Roberts proudly proclaimed in an interview with a far-right broadcaster that his side was in the midst of a "second American Revolution." He added that this revolution would be "bloodless, if the left allows it to be." www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/anti-trump-gop-group-posts-video-of-him-praising-project-2025-authors-after-his-latest-denial/ar-BB1pPjhK?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=u531&cvid=c6f0fca1a08849dba7c7f382517247b7&ei=21

I’m curious as to why so many want a bigger bloated government?

I don't want "a bigger bloated government".
What I want is a regulated, orderly downsizing of what we have. Not a hatchet job on people who disagree with one's political viewpoints.
You and I really aren't much different regarding the problems. We just seem to disagree on the methods for downsizing.

Look at you, expanding the size of government😉 we could spend half of what we spend now with much better results. no matter which side of the covid fence your on the facts are WHO dropped the ball and screwed the usa, who gives the most money by far.
