70 shot this weekend in Chicago
Why are the VAST MAJORITY of these violent cesspools located in Democrat controlled cities?
There has to be a reason. Why?

Don't forget about the 270 car crashes per day in Chicago.

Traffic is heavy in the area. I am building a shopping center on a road that has a traffic count of 100,000 a day. The heavy traffic is the cause of the traffic accidents.
Still don’t explain the violence in the city.

It's a numbers game just like traffic.

It's the easy access to guns. Period.

It’s the lack of stiff penalties and enforcement of the law. PERIOD
Look, Democrats need to quit making excuses and ducking the issue. For the sake of your constituents, own it and fix it.

Never gonna happen.
It’s a useful tool that they don’t have any intention of giving up.

Its a fact that the states with strict gun laws have fewer gun deaths, unless they have a big city like Chicago close to a lax gun law state. Guess where the guns come from, the red states.

So it’s not the illegal possession and use of the guns that bothers you. It’s that their neighbors have too much freedom in gun ownership.
Thanks for clarifying. 🙄

All so some mouth breathing moron can arm his dumb ass to the teeth with guns engineered to kill people.

Right back to “It’s the guns”.
That is the lamest excuse and explanation there is.
I know a person that owns about 500 guns. Not one of them has shot or killed anyone.
It’s not the guns. It’s the people. It’s the criminals. It’s lack enforcement of the laws. It’s lack of strict punishment.
For the last time. If they outlawed the ability to own guns only the outlaws would have guns. Criminals will always find a way.

Is that just you supposing what you want the truth to be, or is it a documented fact that you can support with statistical data? Most likely, the former. My guess would be that most of the guns being used by criminals weren’t legally obtained by them to begin with. I mean they are criminals after all, so what the law says isn't really something they consider before they commit their crimes.

It's not the guns...It's the ready availability of guns.

It's not the guns...It's the ready availability of guns. Saying availability is the issue is like saying that drunks run people over because too much alcohol is available. The broken laws don’t have anything to do with the issue in the minds of some dolts.

Thats a fact. Nowhere is crime caused by not having enough laws already on the books though.

The broken laws don’t have anything to do with the issue in the minds of some dolts. So when there was prohibition on alcohol it only opened up a illegal bootleg market but those wanted it still could obtain it. Similar to the illegal drug market. Laws won’t change the people who are criminals to begin with. I’d rather have my firearms to be able to defend myself and family.

I don’t disagree.
Point was that people committing crimes with legal things isn’t a gun thing or an availability thing. The misuse of the items whether it’s guns or alcohol is a people thing. Address the criminal because they are the problem.

Address the criminal because they are the problem. Yes. It’s absolutely the people. A young person was arrested for murder recently close by. He was out (without even having to post a bond) for being arrested for shooting someone else and possessing a firearm by a felon. Lax administration of existing laws by a “liberal” district attorney cost another person their life.

And they are now manufacturing their own guns. They are “printing”?, them.
They call them ghost guns. I don’t have a clue how they do it. But they are doing it.

Ghost guns are just guns assembled from parts bought separately. Some components may be 3D printed, but that is usually just the plastic pieces. Not many gang bangers own digital metal printers. It is easier to buy the parts. It is called a ghost gun since it has no serial number and is untraceable. Still takes some skill to build a gun from parts. I would bet most are bought on the black market or pawn shops and swap meets.
