All the over-the-top partisan rhetoric for starters. The ruination of Florida’s environment is another. There are plenty of them just on this new forum. So let me understand this, Florida Bay, the Indian River, Biscayne Bay, and phosphate dumps in Tampa Bay are all fake news? Pardon me ! I have taken many a phosphate dump in Tampa Bay. Did you harvest those scallops in your pic from Tampa Bay?

No. Has Disney fuled growth in the upper Kissimmee River basin done its share of damage to downstream water quality? For sure. Regardless of that, Florida is much more than what you listed. Pete thinks that if you disc up wire grass and palmettos and you plant a pasture, you’ve ruined the environment. In reality, you’ve just changed it. For the better in some respects and for the worse in others. It’s a matter of perspective.

The Long leaf pine habitat is one if the rarest in the world and super diverse with many many rare plant and animal species. 2% of its left, and destroying it and turning it into a exotic grass monoculture is a travesty...to say thats ok is the epitome of ignorance.

From sources across the web 99.9% It is estimated that over 99.9% of all species that ever lived are extinct.

Did you harvest those scallops in your pic from Tampa Bay? My daughter found a decent sized scallop earlier this year off one of the skyway beaches. That's good sign of cleaner water. Hopefully Mosaic keeps their poison out of the bay moving forward.

Thats your perspective. Nothing wrong with having your own opinion on the subject but that’s all it is. Your old grandpappy Governor Carlton promoted Florida’s growth, as do pretty much all governors and he wouldn’t agree with your assessment of what you call ruined. It’s changed, for sure but it’s far from ruined. Doesn’t make it any more correct than anyone else’s opinion on it though.

Guilty is guilty is guilty What's so hard to understand about that. Loosing the election is loosing. What's so hard to understand about that as well. Trump is an idiot and deserves everything he's got coming to him. He's gotta be the dumbest president every in the history of this country and it's not even close. I was an idiot for voting for him in 2016. Oh well we all make mistakes. At least I'm smart enough to figure it out. The Maga Cult apparently is dumber than their leader. Losing, FFS.

No, those scallops came from the panhandle area. What don't you understand about thousands of tons of dead fish due to phosphate leak induced red tide, acres of dead seagrass turned to mud due to pollution from algae caused by phosphate and human waste, and the accompanying devastation of our fisheries with subsequent loss of millions if not billions of dollars of income to our state. Anybody with a saltwater fish tank knows what happens when nutrient levels get out of whack. Not much of a mystery.

Your EV and all other EVS produce 10 times the tire particulates than ice vehicles. Tire particulates are extremely toxic. Drive a big truck that runs on biodiesel....You're creating tire particulates and you're worried about phosphate.

EVs produce 10x the tire particulates?
Did you get that bullshit from the same source that said EVs are dead?
It is a lie. It's more like 20-30% more.
That's 1.2x to 1.3x, for those mathematically- and veracity-challenged.

We dump a few million tires in the ocean to supposedly form a artificial reef (with a disastrous result) and now you're splitting hairs over tire particulate on the very same roads that incorporate ground up tires as part of the asphalt. That's right, I said ground up tires. How's that for particulate.

Use your fucking brain.... Micro tire dust is not the same as ground up tires.
Microtire dust is the majority of plastics in the ocean... and yup, EVs produce 10x the dust as ICE cars.
Micro plastics are found in everything, little kids bodies even... breath deeply when you drive your EV so you can absorb your EVs extra pollution.
