It was probably a convenient move for political reasons, but I think the main driving force was negative reaction to various movie or TV show trailers and the Hollywood Industrial Complex pressuring Youtube/Google to do away with it so that negative fan reactions wouldn’t snowball against trash the studios are putting out.
I remember there were various movie/TV show trailers that the big studios were putting out that fans were disliking so much that it was killing hype for the upcoming releases months in advance.
It dovetails with the political because a lot of the really crappy movies and shows coming out feature woke politics very heavily and its usually in the forced wokeism that the quality of the movies or shows really goes down

While both can be true. Time frame says political muscle flexed. I remember the timing coinciding with massive amounts of fan hate on some popular franchises that the Big Studios were doing wrong through sloppy moving making. Movements that gained serious traction to boycott movies and shows months before their releases, causing them to bomb. |

That Biden video is only one small drop in the bucket of hundreds or even thousands of videos on Youtube that were disliked on mass. The difference is that the Biden video has no economic impact for being disliked, while Big Hollywood trailers being disliked can cost a studio many millions Follow the money. If an upcoming Disney movie gets overwhelming dislike from fans , Disney is going to be calling Youtube and telling them to get rid of as many negative reactions as possible. Multiply that by all the major studios, and there’s your answer. |

You can paint a picture and tell a story however you like. Telling stories is how all the Trump hate was built. |
