So one you do public the other side private sounds fair. It depends on the issue. If you are talking about the use of a banned word, that was public because others have done it and I am tired of adding more words to the banned list because some of you can't avoid using certain words. Considering the freedom on this site. Staying within a few simple rules should be easy. It also wasn't a big deal. An IM is a big deal. Next time I will be happy to send you an IM if it will make you happy. This is for Osprey, not Cad. Having been on the receiving end of a bunch of well deserved ass-chewings, I can assure you that Cad and Josh are MORE than fair and tolerant. Don't abuse the privilege they afford us. You and I may agree politically, but I insist on defending the powers that be here, as they more than accomodating.

Guilty verdict today?

I have no clue. I think, if we are going to get a verdict and not a hung jury, there will be a decision late today or tomorrow. Could be Monday though. The longer it takes the more likely it is a hung jury. I saw the jury asked for some testimony and the attorneys were arguing over what to give them. I thought the jury was allowed to see or hear any evidence they wanted, not sure why the attorneys would even be discussing what the jury gets. I expect the jury requests more stuff this morning and we go from there.

I was watching a little bit last night - dad said there are 2 attorneys on the jury. If that's the case, he should walk.
Seen that the judge said the jury does not have to agree, that Trump can be guilty even if the jury doesn't agree? I'm asking - want to make sure I'm not hearing stuff wrong.

Is it cause the libs control the conversation? If so, why didn't they just jail him? This little exercise in time killing really has made a mockery of the judicial system, and maybe that's what needed to happen. I just wish there was something that wasn't corrupt.

This court proceeding has shown itself to be corrupt, evil and flat out wrong from beginning to end. Once more the perpetrators of this terrible farce need to be uncovered, prosecuted and punished severely.
This trial is the true threat to America and American democracy.
This judge needs to be disbarred.

My expectation is that he will be found guilty on some charges. Then sentencing will be another media side show. However, the actual sentence may be suspended with little actual repercussions. Guess we'll see I did read this tidbit this morning though in response to some of the statements above. "The jury is required to come to a unanimous decision on each count. They can convict on some charges and acquit on others, but in each case they need to all agree." www.wfla.com/news/politics/heres-what-happens-if-the-jury-doesnt-agree-in-the-trump-trial/

Seen that the judge said the jury does not have to agree, that Trump can be guilty even if the jury doesn't agree? I'm asking - want to make sure I'm not hearing stuff wrong. The judge said they do not have to agree on the secondary crime that makes it a felony. They have to agree there was a separate crime, but not what that crime was. Some can think it was tax evasion, others can think it was campaign finance laws, and others could think it was some other crime. They just have to agree there was a secondary crime that makes this crime a felony. It is the issue of elevating to the felony level, not the actual charges against him. They have to be unanimous on the charges against him and he can be guilty of one or all 34. There are two attorneys in the Jury. A civil rights attorney and a corporate lawyer, not sure that helps Trump. A corporate lawyer will see through the B S. about not knowing it was a hooker payment.
