Just had some fried yellow eye snapper tonight. Pulled it out of the freezer but since it was vacuum, sealed it was still excellent.

In order to keep my man-card active, I did fix the oven today. Fortunately it was only the lower element, but it was blown to smithereens. Local parts place had one, and was only a few bucks more than buying from Amazon (yea for the local guy). Made chicken fajitas per the request of the Queen Bee.

I put Bayleaf in my Bolognese sauce. I ain’t Italian though. That’s why it ain’t called gravy for me. Gravy is something entirely different and usually involves fat and flour. I ain’t judging , just found it interesting. Grandfather always called it gravy, Grandma said he was an idiot.

I think Italian Americans started calling their sauce gravy as they tried to assimilate with American culture but it ain't gravy. Think of Thanksgiving Turkey gravy and that is what "gravy" is.

A nice patty melt.. I rehydrated some jalepenos, mixed with ground beef, salt, pepper, Worcester sauce, sharp hi temp cheese, Thinking grilled sourdough, grilled onion, and some a1 would finish it nicely.. Air fried potato wedges..and a nice beer..

Leftovers for me tonight also. Leftover cheese grits from breakfast with lefftover fried snapper from last night. I re-heated the snapper in the airfryer with decent results.
